We often apologize reluctantly. In Tamil culture, there is a saying that "apologizing makes us human, but forgiving makes us great." Jesus Christ exemplified this by forgiving others, making him a truly great human being. Throughout our lives, we have all made numerous mistakes. Among Paul’s epistles, 1 Corinthians is known to be his lengthiest. Records suggest that Paul resided in Corinth for an extended period. The prosperous city of Corinth was known for its abundance of wealth, leading to some individuals in the Corinthian church living lives of excess and disorder. In the selected text, the Apostle Paul speaks earnestly about the cross, emphasizing that it is more than just a concept or object—it is a profound experience. A pastor who studied Theology visited our college. While in the chapel, the pastor noticed the cross and accused it of being idolatrous.
